It’s time to connect your Etsy shop to Templett so you can start selling templates on Etsy.
First, if you have not signed up as a Templett seller, you should go ahead and do that now here.
Important! Be sure your shop is active with at least one listing published before connecting your Etsy shop to Templett.
Connecting your Etsy Shop
In order for us to pull your order information from purchases in your Etsy shop and give your customers access to their purchased templates, we’ll need to connect your Templett account to Etsy using the Etsy API (application programming interface).
To connect your Etsy shop, log in to Templett and visit the integrations page.
- In the Etsy section, click the "Connect Etsy Shop" button.
- Sign into Etsy, if you are not already signed in.
- In the next screen, click the "Allow Access" button.
If everything was successful, you’ll be redirected back to the integrations page and you'll now see your shop connected to Etsy in Templett.
Now, when an order is placed in your Etsy shop, we’ll pull the information from that order and create the order in template, create an account for your customer, and send them a link to access their template. This is all done automatically.
Keep in mind, an order will only be created in Templett when you have included the template id’s in the listing description. If you have not included any template id’s in the listing description, we will not pull any information from that Etsy order. We’ll assume that order is not for templates. Please see this article for more information.
This allows you to sell different items in your Etsy shop, other than templates.
