Updated video coming soon.
Clipping masks just got a huge update and they're easier to use than ever!
Add your photo to a clipping mask
If your design already has a clipping mask ready to go follow these steps, otherwise skip to the next section.
1) Start by uploading a photo your Elements pane
If you need help doing that, see this article.
2) Add your photo to the template
From the Elements pane or from the stock images, click the image you want to add to the template or drag it to the template.
3) Drag the image over the clipping mask object
Once you have the image dragged over the clipping mask object, let go to apply the changes. The image will now be clipped.
Double clicking the image will allow you to move it around and rotate it. Click out of the clipping mask to apply the changes.
Creating a new clipping mask on shapes and SVG's

2) Select the object and right click on it and choose Create Clipping Mask
You'll now see a default placeholder image in the object. The object is now a clipping mask.
3) Add an image to the template
Choose an image from your elements or the stock elements and add it to the template.
4) Drag the image over the clipping mask object
Once you have the image dragged over the clipping mask object, let go to apply the changes. The image will now be clipped.
5) Double click on the image to edit it
Double clicking the image will allow you to move it around and rotate it. Click out of the clipping mask to apply the changes.
That's it!
Clipping masks on Text
Most of the same instructions above apply to clipping masks on text as well. The only difference is that instead of double clicking to edit the image inside, just select the textbox and a "Edit Image" button will appear below it. Click that to edit the image.
Double clicking on the textbox will put it into text editing mode.
We hope you enjoy the new clipping mask updates!
