Templett is an online design platform where creators can design editable templates for their customers to purchase and edit. Customers can then download their template in multiple formats and get it printed if they choose.
Why Did We Create Templett?
Creating editable templates on the web wasn't easy and was hardly even possible before Templett was born. Sellers used applications like Adobe Acrobat and even MS Word to create templates that their customers could edit. Long story short, it was a pain. We decided to change all that and build a tool that was easier to use for sellers, as well as customers. We wanted to automate things for sellers as well and provide a full service design platform where the seller could create their templates and the customers could edit them.

The Basics
Where Can I Sell My Templates?
Etsy, Shopify, Wordpress.
We currently have integrations with Etsy, Shopify, and Wordpress (Woocommerce plugin). That means you have three great platforms to choose from to sell your editable templates. You can use one or multiple platforms with the same Templett account. You can even have multiple shops using the same Templett account.
What Happens When I Sell a Template?
The process of selling a template is easy for you and your customer.
Customer's Experience:
When a customer purchases one of your products or listings, they'll get an email within a few minutes of purchase. Their email will contain an access link. The access link takes them to a page where they can confirm the details of their account and set a password for their new Templett account. Having a Templett account allows them to save their work and come back later and pick up where they left off. Once they've confirmed their account details, they'll be taken to the design area where they'll see their purchased templates. They can click on a template to load and start editing it.
Seller's Experience:
After an order is created, on one of our integrated selling platforms, you'll see that order in your Templett account. You'll then have access to your customer's account so you can help them with their templates, if you want. When you sell a template, there is nothing you need to do on your end. The process is automated and your customer will get access to their purchased templates without any effort on your part.
What's it Like Creating Templates?
Creating templates is fun and easy in Templett. You start by navigating to the design area, clicking File > New, and setting the type of template you'd like, as well as the size of the template. We support inches, millimeters, and pixels for template size units. You can then add text boxes to your template, design elements like images, svg's, backgrounds, etc. You can even lock objects (so your customer's cannot edit them). We have multiple template types that you can choose from when creating a new template like folding and double sided templates, geofilters, and more.
